Position: INVENTORY AUDITOR Freezer Warehouse - 1st shift

INVENTORY AUDITOR Freezer Warehouse - 1st shift

Verifies the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of merchandise prepared for shipment to ensure accurate shuttle movements and deliveries to store operations and relay centers. Verifies that purchase orders and bills of lading are received and processed accurately.

What You’ll Do

  • Counts, weights, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications
  • Identify orders at random to be checked for selecting accuracy
  • Notify selectors, lift drivers, receivers, and/or appropriate management of errors found during audit
  • Ensure accuracy data is reported to leadership in timely manner to ensure accurate incentive pay
  • Complete supporting documents on a daily and/or weekly basis to record accuracy information
  • Ensure the proper pallet let down procedures
  • Follow company’s attendance policy
  • Follow company’s safety policies and procedures
  • Investigate missing pallets/product from over/short database
  • Complete weekly compliance audits
  • Regularly communicates with receivers, selectors, lift drivers, warehouse leadership, and store leadership/operations
  • Complete yard audits to ensure transportation compliance

What You Bring

Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one-year related experience; or High School diploma and six months selector experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software, Triceps, Biceps inventory software and Microsoft office
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage in difficult conversation professionally and effectively
