Job Purpose:

The Put Away / Restock Associate is responsible for keeping inventory stocked, organized, and available for order fulfillment within our shipping department. The primary focus of this position is putting away merchandise and stocking and replenishing inventory bins to ensure products are available for associates picking customer orders. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization.

In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

• Stock and restock inventory bins to maintain adequate product levels for order fulfillment.
• Put away merchandise in the correct inventory locations using established warehouse procedures.
• Transport boxes and merchandise from staging or stock areas to designated inventory locations.
• Use a handheld scanner to identify products, confirm inventory locations, and accurately complete put away and restocking tasks.
• Sort and organize merchandise by product, size, color, or other designated criteria.
• Keep aisles, bins, and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with picking and packing customer orders when needed.
• Support other Shipping, Inventory, Receiving, or warehouse activities as trained and assigned based on business needs.
• Follow all company safety procedures on a consistent basis.

• Strong attention to detail and focus on inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Ability and willingness to learn to use handheld inventory scanners and other basic warehouse technology.
• Ability to read numbers and letters and accurately match them up with picking locations.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and kneel while stocking and restocking merchandise.
• Frequently lift, lower, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently climb and use step ladders while handling merchandise.
• Vision (Near, Distance, Peripheral) and ability to distinguish colors.
