Kova Fertilizer is a family-owned agribusiness serving growers and retail locations across Indiana and surrounding states. We are seeking a Wholesale Operations Manager to help lead and strengthen our wholesale business as part of an intentional leadership transition.
This role carries responsibility for pricing, rebates, forecasting, inventory systems, vendor coordination, and wholesale program execution. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced wholesale leader to ensure continuity, structured knowledge transfer, and long-term operational stability.

Kova Fertilizer is a family-owned agribusiness serving growers and retail locations across Indiana and surrounding states. We are seeking a Wholesale Operations Manager to help lead and strengthen our wholesale business as part of an intentional leadership transition.
This role carries responsibility for pricing, rebates, forecasting, inventory systems, vendor coordination, and wholesale program execution. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced wholesale leader to ensure continuity, structured knowledge transfer, and long-term operational stability.

Planned Transition & ContinuityKova is intentionally adding leadership capacity within its wholesale operation. This role will work alongside an experienced wholesale leader to support continuity, knowledge transfer, and a smooth transition of systems, processes, and relationships.
Responsibility and authority will expand as familiarity with the operation grows, with the long-term expectation of full operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Wholesale price sheet creation, adjustment, and maintenance
- Rebate calculations, tracking, reconciliation, and coordination of rebate payments
- Forecasting and inventory planning for Kova Wholesale
- Oversight of A/R-related sales coordination and internal reporting
- Warehouse and inventory management (counts, reconciliation, EDI processes)
- Coordination with wholesale partners on pricing programs, inventory flow, and direct shipments
- Active engagement with supplier representatives and vendor partners
- Collaboration with external wholesalers and internal retail operations
- Support of in-house wholesale program development
- Representation of Kova in meetings with vendors, partners, and industry contacts
- Experience in agricultural wholesale, ag retail operations, or input distribution
- Comfort with pricing structures, rebate programs, and forecasting
- Strong understanding of inventory systems and operational workflows
- Ability to manage detail-heavy responsibilities while maintaining strategic focus
- Willingness to relocate for a long-term opportunity

- Base compensation typically ranges from $80,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience, scope, and progression of responsibility
