Loan Servicing Specialist II

Job Summary

The Loan Servicing Specialist II is responsible for moderate to complex tasks that support the loan operations group, including escrow processing, quoting payoffs, payment corrections, research, escalations, remediations, and customer service.

• Use a limited set of systems and technology to process loan transactions.
• Assist with training new associates and provide guidance to other loan specialists.
• Maintain adherence to operational controls, compliance with all required regulations and policies.
• Apply knowledge of loan fields and their impact in the loan servicing system.
• Participate in special projects and assist with research for internal and external audits.
• Update policies and procedures to reflect current job functions.
• Balance daily tickets and assist colleagues as needed.
• Conduct escrow analysis and processing, quote payoffs (including complex calculations), and handle collections and lease transactions.
• Process large volumes of insurance and property tax payments in a timely and compliant manner.
• Create letters and correspondence; review data for accuracy.
• Complete a high volume of work efficiently and accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of operations and/or financial experience.
• Ability to manage workflow, delegate, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Intermediate knowledge of core banking, imaging software, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills: define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and know when to escalates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; precision and attention to detail.
• Ability to listen, collaborate, and provide high‑quality customer service.
• Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and departmental documentation is preferred.

$19.47/hr to $23.56/hr

Frequent lifting and carrying of items less than 50 pounds; frequent sitting, standing, and walking; ability to work on a computer most of the day; sit or stand for long periods.
