Production Systems Optimization Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design and refine end-to-end production workflows to consistently meet output, quality, and cost targets.
• Capture production data and apply scientific and statistical analysis to map, document, and visualize processes.
• Spot bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then craft practical, durable fixes.
• Recommend equipment upgrades, process changes, and improved work methods to maximize labor, energy, and raw material utilization.
• Serve as a go-to resource and mentor for less experienced engineers when needed.
• Contribute to process development for new or more complex products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering within a production environment or manufacturing facility.

• Background in powdered metallurgy is a plus.
• Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing environments.

• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Strong project leadership, planning, and time management skills.
• Confident, timely decision-making.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Solid grasp of machining, geometric tolerances, and strength of materials.
