PCU/Tele Nights Shift Registered Nurse

The PCU/Tele Nights Shift Registered Nurse provides optimal patient care on the Progressive Care Unit during overnight hours. They effectively monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Administer and coordinate patient care according to hospital protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient status and document clinical findings accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.
• Float within hospital departments as needed, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.
• Complete all required compliance training and certifications prior to start date.

• Hold an active PA or Compact nursing license at submission.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience.
• Be current with required certifications, including AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Exhibit proficiency with Cerner or similar EHR systems.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
• Be willing to work night shifts, including every other holiday.
