Road & Rail Services Operations Manager
Location: Greensburg, IN
Schedule: Depending on business needs
Position SummaryAs part of an award-winning team in the logistics industry, you will provide leadership and management oversight for assigned areas of responsibility. Ensure site compliance with Safety, SOP, and customer requirements.
What's Required- 3 or more years of Supervisory experience
- Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic experience a plus
- Microsoft Office knowledge is a must
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Able to meet attendance requirements
- A teamwork, can-do attitude and willing to learn
- Valid drivers license
- Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
- Embody the Ethical practices and Core Principles of the Company
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance within the scope of duties, included but not limited to hire, fire, promotions, or other changes in employee status
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Company, Customer, OSHA, EPA, FRA and DOT regulations by performing key audits and/or relevant inspections. These are included but are not limited to AAR, ISA, ISO, etc..
- Ensuring all associates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures and site SOP's
- Continually seek and document methods for improvement in the quality of the services being provided and the efficiency in which those services are conducted
- Setting and monitoring specific developmental and performance goals for associates
