Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients with a focus on cardiac monitoring and patient assessment. This role requires delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and emergent situations, ensuring safety and stability.
• Adhere to all compliance, safety, and infection control policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to float within the hospital and work flexible hours.
