Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Cook to join our team in Butler County. This position operates within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, supporting individuals receiving behavioral health services by helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment through meal preparation and kitchen support. In this role, you will help provide nutritious meals while contributing to the overall wellness, comfort, and daily routine of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications
  • Ability to cook, clean, and maintain an organized kitchen environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop as required
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous food service, healthcare, or behavioral health experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals for individuals receiving behavioral health services in accordance with program needs
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment through appropriate kitchen operations and behavioral expectations
  • Assist with food storage, supply organization, and inventory monitoring
  • Follow health, safety, and agency standards related to food preparation and sanitation
  • Work independently and collaboratively with staff to support daily operations and consumer well-being
  • Contribute to a welcoming, recovery-focused environment that supports wellness within the CCBHC care model
Requirements

ALL candidates must be able to type and have basic computer skills, possess a valid AL driver’s license, eligibility for coverage under center liability insurance and individually held vehicle liability insurance with a clear background check.
