Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities, providing care and support for customers in a high‑impact, customer‑focused setting.

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving service issues.
• Focusing on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance in locating items.
• Accurately performing cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit‑card transactions with precision following company policies.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks directed by the store manager.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Providing support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel during regular shifts as part of growth opportunities.
• Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

At least 16 years of age.

• Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and minimal force regularly for moving objects.
• Visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School diploma or equivalent preferable but not required.

20 hours.

Part‑time.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour.

This represents the base hourly rate; the actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
