The Paramedic Program Coordinator oversees the operations of the paramedic program, including administration, recruiting, organization, quality review and improvement, long‑range planning, and the development and maintenance of program accreditation at Owensboro Community and Technical College. The Program Coordinator works with the District 3 Coordinator to schedule course instructors and ensure that students have a clear, well‑supported pathway to success. This position is located at the District 3 office in Greenville, Ky.
Job Duties- Ensure all operations of the paramedic program are carried out and organized in full compliance with national, state, and local regulations and procedures, while also ensuring all accreditation criteria are continuously met.
- Oversee long range program planning, recruitment for, and development of programs to ensure program success.
- Oversee preparation of lessons in Blackboard and monitor assignments for effectiveness. Utilize predictive testing tools within courses to support student learning, assessment, and ongoing evaluation.
- Complete program quality review to ensure student and program outcomes are met.
- Collaborate with the program's medical director and instructors to meet requirements and ensure program success.
- Participate in college, division, and faculty meetings.
- Maintain program to satisfy accreditation requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years related work experience
- Kentucky Paramedic license
- KY Level III EMS Educator
- Master's Degree - Emergency Service related
- 10 years of related experience
