Quality Manager required for Food and Bev Manufacturer

We are seeking a hands‑on Quality Manager to lead internal quality operations at a food manufacturing facility in KY. This role is ideal for a floor‑focused quality leader who enjoys building teams, partnering with operations, and driving strong internal quality systems in a fast‑paced environment.

The Quality Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead internal quality programs in a food manufacturing environment
• Manage and develop a team of 3 Quality Supervisors and Quality Technicians
• Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor
• Own internal quality systems, procedures, and documentation
• Partner closely with Operations and Food Safety to ensure alignment and execution
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to internal quality performance
• Lead internal audits, deviations, corrective and preventive actions
• Build, develop, and retain a high‑performing quality team

The ideal Quality Manager candidate will have the following skillset:

• Experience in food processing or food manufacturing
• Proven leadership of quality teams in a hands‑on, plant‑level environment
• Strong understanding of internal quality systems and process controls
• USQF or other GFSI experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable being on the floor and making real‑time quality decisions
• Strong communicator and collaborative partner with operations
• Team‑builder focused on engagement and retention
