Staffing Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor to join a leading manufacturer of premium refrigeration and ice‑making products. This leadership role provides high‑level oversight of assembly operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives are met while supporting and developing manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities:- Oversee assembly operations to ensure production targets, quality metrics, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved
- Lead, mentor, and support team leads and assembly personnel, driving accountability and performance across the floor
- Partner with operations leadership to plan capacity, staffing levels, and workflow across multiple assembly lines
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and manufacturing standards
- Monitor quality performance and lead efforts to improve efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction
- Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve operational challenges
- Review production KPIs, labor utilization, scrap, and downtime to guide data‑driven decision‑making
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and process optimization efforts
- Assist with new product introductions, process changes, and equipment implementations within assembly
- Perform additional leadership and operational duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of assembly processes, production planning, and quality systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through performance improvement and change
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Comfortable analyzing production data and translating insights into action
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs preferred
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred
