- Understand specifications of the tasks at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Enthusiasm to continually learn new skills and techniques
- Perform regular quality assessments on incoming material and outgoing orders
- Reject products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations
- Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, specifications and GD&T
- Capability to accurately measure part dimensions, examine functionality and verify specifications
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
- Thoroughly document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Willingness to communicate and work within a team environment
- Maintain cleanliness in work area
- Promote, comply, and always emphasize safety
- Use and operation of a powered industrial truck;
Hilo/Forklift - Responsible for calibration of hand tools such as micrometers, caliper, pin/plug gages, ring gages etc.
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Analytical and numerical skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations and work with decimals/fractions/standard/metric
- Use of various precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Advanced measuring equipment experience such as vision inspection systems, CMM and FARO.
- Ability to stand and be mobile for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills;
Microsoft Word/Excel - Able to lift 50 pounds
- Good interpersonal skills
