Iron General Foremen - Statewide Mississippi

Yates Construction is seeking Iron General Foremen for various locations. These professionals will supervise foremen, oversee quality and safety, and provide planning and direction for construction activities. The ideal candidate has significant experience in construction supervision and is committed to upholding safety and quality standards on every project.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience
• Minimum of six (6) years of craft-classified experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervision experience
• Experience managing five to fifteen (5 to 15) team members
• Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical, or trade school such as NCCER Certification Plus
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Ability to read ISO’s, Blueprints, P&IDs
• Successful completion of required Safety training including Confined Space, LOTO, and Working at Heights
• Physical ability to work in all weather conditions, at varying elevations, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to wear and maintain personal PPE and safety harnesses

• Successful completion of Yates Supervisor training (Level II)
