What starts with YOU, moves the world! Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented STE Engineering Resource based at our Greenville, NC location.

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools.
• Create design layouts, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Order, build, and evaluate prototype parts; document findings and implement improvements.
• Support on‑site production activities, including pilot builds and first‑run manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot design or production issues and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve them.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and on‑time completion.
• Participate in product reviews and provide engineering input that aligns with customer needs and performance requirements.

• A collaborative problem‑solver who enjoys hands‑on engineering work.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A clear communicator who can convey technical information in a straightforward way.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to continuously improve products and processes.
• Comfortable working in both design and production environments.

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering
• At least 3 years of industry experience in engineering, product development, or related fields.

• Proficiency with CAD software (Solid Works, Creo, Inventor, or comparable).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, drafting practices, and engineering analysis.
• Experience with prototype development, testing, and design validation.
  
  Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.
• Familiarity with vehicle, equipment, or automotive systems is a plus.
• Ability to create, interpret, and maintain engineering drawings and specifications.
