Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is looking to add PM shift Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to our team of caregivers. We now offer flexible schedules with additional options for a referral bonus and a sign‑on bonus for full‑time night shift (11pm-7am) employees.

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse's role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

The LPN’s role involves passing medication, completing assessments and treatments, documenting the provision of these services, and occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting nursing assistants.

The ideal candidate has long‑term care experience, a positive attitude and bedside manner, and a love for working with people. Must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina (NC) or a compact license that allows practice in NC.
