Medical-Surgical Nursing Faculty

Mississippi College School of Nursing invites applications for this position. This position plays a vital role in preparing skilled, compassionate nurses by facilitating student learning in clinical settings and supporting their development of professional nursing competencies.

• A master's degree in nursing which includes clinical preparation in a nursing specialty and preparation for the teaching role for the purposes of presenting meaningful, effective and engaging instruction in all aspects of the discipline
• Excellent organizational and writing skills
• Research proficiency
• Understanding of higher education assessment
• Demonstrated scholarship in nursing and ongoing involvement in nursing practice.
• Two years of practice experience in the area of instruction
• Maintains current unencumbered registered nurse (RN) licensure for professional practice with the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.
