Accounts Receivable Specialist

Calling all Accounts Receivable professionals! Our client, a growing company located in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. While working as the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work alongside an experienced accounting team with responsibilities including:

• Preparing and issuing customer invoices accurately and timely
• Posting daily cash receipts and applying customer payments
• Monitoring customer accounts and following up on outstanding balances
• Researching and resolving billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Reconciling accounts receivable balances and customer statements
• Assisting with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
• Maintaining accurate customer records and supporting documentation
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely billing and collections
• Assisting with various accounting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• 1+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Experience with invoicing, cash application, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
