Primary Purpose of Organizational UnitAcademic Affairs (“AA”) is headed by the Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs who serves as the institution’s Chief Academic Officer (“CAO”) and is responsible for administering academic policies. AA is comprised of each of the university’s colleges, schools, and libraries, along with other academic support and administrative units, to include Learner Operations, Research, Innovation and Engagement, Institutional Planning, Assessment and Research, and Global Affairs.

The Undergraduate Admissions Office is the primary point of contact for a traditional first year student, transfer, or non-traditional adult student seeking admission to East Carolina University. The office is responsible for identifying and recruiting potential applicants with outstanding academic ability and potential and assisting in the application process to completion.
Primary Purpose of Position- Provide administrative support to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests who call.
- Assist with greeting in person visitors to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Assist with general office operations.
