The Undergraduate Admissions Office is responsible for identifying, recruiting and enrolling students in sufficient numbers to meet the University’s enrollment projections while improving the quality of the student population. The office processes approximately 26,000 applications yearly, including freshman, transfer, second degree, visitors, readmits and non‑degree adult learners. In order to generate applications from these individuals, the office is involved in many public relations activities which produce thousands of inquires for additional information and for applications.

Primary Purpose of Position

The First‑Year Processing Supervisor oversees the daily operations of first‑year application processing and Mail Services within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position provides direct supervision to processing staff and Mail Services personnel responsible for the receipt, imaging, routing, and distribution of admissions documents, as well as residency communications. The supervisor ensures timely, accurate and compliant processing while serving as a technical and operational leader supporting undergraduate enrollment goals.
