Superintendent, Construction

A growing, vertically integrated multifamily developer/builder is seeking an experienced Superintendent to help lead field execution on a 312-unit, ground-up multifamily community in Greenville, NC. About the Role

The Superintendent will play a key role in overseeing daily field operations and driving successful project execution through critical construction phases, including MEP coordination, inspections, open wall, insulation, stairs, and railing. Working alongside the Lead Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Project Manager, you will help maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality construction while keeping the project on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors across assigned phases of construction
• Manage daily field operations and ensure work progresses according to schedule
• Coordinate MEP trades, inspections, and open wall activities
• Maintain quality standards by reviewing work against drawings, specifications, submittals, and scopes
• Complete inspections, track observations, and maintain accurate documentation through Procore
• Identify schedule risks, resolve field challenges, and communicate updates proactively
• Ensure materials, manpower, and resources are available to support upcoming activities
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional jobsite environment
• Hold subcontractors accountable while maintaining strong working relationships
• Support overall project delivery from a field execution perspective

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction experience within multifamily, commercial, or residential projects
• Experience managing subcontractors and active construction sites
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction sequencing and field operations
• Experience with MEP coordination, inspections, and open wall processes preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite best practices
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
• Ability to take ownership and drive project success
