Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

Join our dynamic Building Business Unit and Greenville project team as a Project Engineer
, where you will drive project success from startup to closeout. You will play a vital role in scheduling, procurement, contract execution, and maintaining our "Safe Work, No Work" mindset across the jobsite.

• Safety &
  
  Risk Management:
  
  Lead weekly safety talks, enforce site-specific safety protocols, and correct unsafe acts immediately with a proactive mindset.
• Project Administration: Manage drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders using modern software like Procore and Vista.
• Procurement & Cost Control: Track material deliveries, review subcontractor proposals, and support budget tracking and invoice approvals.
• Communication & Leadership: Facilitate meetings with owners and subcontractors, build strong client relationships, and help mentor onsite personnel.

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency or a fast learning curve with Microsoft Office, Procore, Vista, or similar project tools.
• Core Competencies: Strong reading comprehension for blueprints, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and skilled contract negotiation.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and an uncompromising commitment to jobsite safety.
