Job Overview
ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to help pick up shifts in the Emergency Department. Candidates will need to come in the day before for orientation.
Coverage ScheduleDays:
- 4/3 7:30am – 7:30pm
- 4/4 7:30am – 7:30pm
- 4/9 7:30am – 7:30pm
- 5/15 7:30am – 7:30pm
- 5/16 7:30am – 7:30pm
- 5/17 7:30am – 7:30pm
Nights:
- 4/2/26 7:30pm – 7:30am
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience.
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician.
- Must hold BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications through AHA.
- Eligible for MD or DO physicians; IM or FM physicians with emergency experience are acceptable.
- ED has 15 total beds.
- Total inpatient census: 22,250 per year.
- Average number of patients/day: 65.
- ECU Health Air and Ground Support to immediately transfer patients.
- Uses EPIC electronic health record system.
