Faculty responsibilities include planning, teaching, and evaluating graduate-level nursing courses.
This faculty position will be accountable for teaching courses in the graduate core and courses in the faculty's specialty area. The position may also involve teaching courses in other College of Nursing departments.
Minimum Education /Experience- Requires a Master's degree in nursing or a related field from an appropriately accredited institution.
- A valid non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment.
- Certification in the faculty's specialty area is required for all advanced practice nurse applicants.
- A minimum of two years of clinical practice in a specialty area is required.
- A valid non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment.
- Certification in faculty's specialty area is required for all advanced practice nurse applicants.
A terminal degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with recent nursing education experience.
