Job Description - ECU Department of Biology is currently seeking a Crenshaw Lab Assistant to serve as an Undergraduate Genomics Core Lab Assistant for the preparation of materials used in teaching labs. Lab assistants are responsible for:

  • The preparation of reagents
  • Laboratory setup
  • Laboratory breakdown
  • Maintaining teaching labs for biochemistry and biotechnology
  • Cleaning teaching laboratories

The student must also be available to work a minimum of 4 hours a week around their class schedule.

GPA Requirement
- Minimum of 2.5

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) - Preferred majors:
Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry. No experience required this could be an excellent resume builder as you will learn lab principles and techniques and receive multiple trainings.

License/certification required
