Field Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CMT Field Technician based in Greenville, NC. The CMT Field Technician will be responsible for conducting field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including soil, concrete, and asphalt. Daily responsibilities include preparing reports, documenting test results, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and communicating findings effectively with the project team and clients.

• Experience performing field and laboratory tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, and asphalt
• Strong skills in data documentation, report preparation, and ensuring quality assurance
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with project teams, contractors, and clients
• Ability to work effectively in an outdoor environment and independently on assigned tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• An engineering or technical degree/certification, or relevant on-the-job experience, is preferred but not mandatory
