The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an Engineer II (NS) to join the Signal System Timing and Operations (SSTO) team within the Mobility and Safety Division. You will design, implement, and optimize statewide signal timing plans and advise municipalities on citywide systems.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, NC driver’s license, and experience with traffic signal timing, modeling software, and technical reporting. Travel is frequent.
