Public Safety Officer

Position Summary

The ECU Health Medical Center Public Safety Officer performs the complete range of security services provided to the patients, visitors, and staff of ECU Health Medical Center.

• Demonstrates acceptable level of Service Excellence behaviors. Demonstrates acceptable level of work habits behavior. Meets professional standards.
• Provides information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. Maintains and monitors Metal Detector. Provides door unlocks to staff. Provides releases for Morgue to Funeral Directors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School or higher is required.
• Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Zero to two years related experience

• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday (5:45 am - 5:45 pm)
• Required to work rotational weekends
