The anticipated salary range for this position is $14.34 - $15.33 hourly. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Clerk receives, unpacks, checks, and stores equipment and supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Package and prepare equipment and supplies prior to distribution.
  • Fill orders by preparing supplies to be distributed to patients.
  • Process paperwork for distribution of equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms and packaging slips are completed accurately.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.
  • Ensure warehouse is maintained in an efficient, clean and safe manner.
  • Report stock levels to supervisor.
  • Assist with ordering of equipment and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Assist in completing periodic inventory count.
  • Clean and sterilize medical equipment.
  • Perform minor equipment repair and maintenance as required.
  • Maintain files on all equipment.
  • Act as back‑up to delivery employees when necessary.
  • May deliver equipment to home‑healthcare patients.
  • May set up and instruct patients on the basic use of their medical equipment, as approved or allowed by local and state licensure limitations.
  • Assist patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.
  • May perform other delivery duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Background check and DOT physical.
  • High school diploma or GED required, at least one year of related work experience and minimum of three years driving history.
  • At least 21 years of age at time of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license and current MVR meeting company standards.
  • Must meet job‑related requirements for D.O.T., F.D.A., and accrediting body standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to multitask, communicate effectively in person, on the phone and electronically.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management, basic computer skills, ability to use electronic handheld device.
  • Proficiency in basic printing/faxing/scanning and completing online training and testing.
  • English language skills (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulations.
  • Knowledge of Home Healthcare industry.
  • Two years of inventory management experience.
  • CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, inventory management software, and interaction with the general public in a service management industry.
Physical Demands

Requires frequent use of hands to write, use computer, operate a motor vehicle, use a handheld device, telephone and document imaging system; read and write documents; use PPE including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, respiratory protection.

Requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, reaching or stooping; lifting and carrying objects ranging from 10 to 160 lbs, pushing or pulling 20‑60 lbs, carrying distances up to 350 ft, climbing stairs or ladders, low vision, hearing, hearing protective equipment, and optional workplace sickness vaccination.

Work Environment

Employee must operate a commercial motor vehicle day and night in varied weather and traffic; noise level range low to high; moderate exposure to dust, fumes, mists, odors, cryogenic liquids, cleaning agents; working indoors or outdoors in temperature extremes; low light situations.
