General Manager 5 - Environmental Services / Custodial Janitorial Independent Contractor needed in Greenville, NC

Position for Custodian responsibilities including cleaning, maintenance, and other support tasks.

• Cleaning and washing floors, ceilings, dusting, polishing furniture.
• Washing windows, stripping, spraying, buffing, waxing, floor washing.
• Cleaning and washing restrooms.
• Disposal of garbage and trash.
• Assist teachers, students, public, and other employees as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain grounds: cutting grass with hand and power mowers, collecting litter, trimming bushes, small trees, raking grounds.
• Perform minor repairs to walks, paths, walls, playground, roads, site improvements.
• Snow removal duties as assigned.
• Handle supplies and equipment as required by staff and principal.
• Operate heating, lighting, ventilation, electrical controls as specified.
• Assist with key maintenance issues.
• Assist in operating security and fire safety systems.
• Other miscellaneous custodial duties as assigned.
• Maintain bus license and accept bus driver assignments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising administrators.
