About Greenville Treatment Center
Greenville Treatment Center is a private outpatient medication-assisted treatment program offering substance abuse treatment to individuals with a substance use disorder of opiates. The Greenville Treatment Center provides a caring and therapeutic environment. Certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician are on staff to deliver the best care. The mission of our treatment program is to provide opportunities for patients to explore change and strengthen themselves so they can lead healthy and productive lives.
We are searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse dedicated to the mission.
Monday-Friday 5:15am-1pm;
Saturday Rotation (6:30am-9:30am) Flexible part time schedule available. Will discuss the schedule in an interview.
- A nursing License is required from an accredited school.
- Valid NC nursing license.
- Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law.
- CPR/First Aid.
- Administer medications based on medical orders.
- Maintain management of medication inventory.
- Assist Medical Director in crisis interventions.
- Monitors the demeanor of the patients in the phase of induction of the medication and during all medication administration.
- Identifies and reports any critical incidents to the Medical Director.
- Available to answer calls after hours for dosing verification.
- Observe urine drug screens, as needed.
- Follow state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs.
