Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / IMC / Stepdown)

Greenville, NC

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
• Perform ongoing cardiac monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown unit
• Strong cardiac nursing experience

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with high-acuity intermediate care workflows and protocols
