Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide | Dare County, NC

Employment Type: Full‑Time

We are currently seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide to join our team in the Dare County area and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

As a CNA with our hospice team, you’ll play a vital role in providing hands‑on care and comfort to those at the end of life. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager, you’ll ensure that patients receive compassionate, high‑quality support in the comfort of their own homes.

What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, and respiration).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Ensure proper nutrition and hydration, including meal preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
  • Apply safety principles and proper body mechanics when assisting with mobility.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow established procedures.
What You Bring:
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide certification in North Carolina.
  • At least 1 year of experience providing personal care (hospice or home health experience preferred).
  • A compassionate and patient‑focused mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
  • Commitment to upholding the dignity and comfort of every patient.
