Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our North Carolina offices.

Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.

Nurse Practitioner Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current license to practice in the State of North Carolina.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain‑related concerns.
  • Review the patient’s medical history.
  • Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Consult with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage pain.
  • Use knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non‑invasive treatment options.
  • Perform joint injections.
  • Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self‑care strategies.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Active NC license.
  • Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision‑making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
