/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $61,177.00 - $91,767.00
* A Sign-on bonus of $10,000 or $12,000 depending on selected service area may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the  Budget Approval.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:

Technical Knowledge :
Team leadership including delegation of duties and supervision.

Consulting/Advising :
Ability to provide feedback and guidance/counsel to nursing staff on care rendered to patients.

Critical Thinking :
Basic ability to implement the nursing process.

Client/Customer Service :
Ability to work as a team player with multi-disciplinary healthcare staff.

Coaching/Mentoring :
Ability to provide support and assistance to peers/co-workers.

Conditional Requirements:
Selected applicants must be able to pass a State Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Check, and complete and pass BLS/CPR training and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training during orientation.

This Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)
This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

We Will Be Recruiting For Multiple Positions With This Post. Your Application Will Be Considered For All Noted Open Positions.

The work schedule is PART TIME of 30-hours/week, 24-hours/week, 20-hours/week, or 16-hours/week with alternating weekends and holidays. As always, flexibility is required for training and education purposes and to meet hospital needs.

Work Schedule Shift Premium8-hour Day: 7:00am-3:30pm 10% Weekend8-hour evening: 3:00pm-11:30pm 20% Weekday & 30% Weekend8-hour Night: 11:00pm-7:30am 20% Weekday & 30% Weekend
12-hour Day: 7:00am-7:30pm 10% Weekend
12-hour Night: 7:00pm-7:30am 20% Weekday & 30% Weekend

Please note:

Selected applicants will be required to work Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week for the duration of new employee orientation and training.
* Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.

An employee is not eligible for a sign-on bonus if:

The employee has held a position in the North Carolina State government, including the judicial system, or the University of North Carolina system, within the last 12 months (the employee shall remain ineligible for 12 months from the separation date)
The employee has previously received a sign-on bonus from any State agencyDHHS has paid any contract placement or recruitment fees.
