Certified Nurse Midwife Greenville, NC scope

Seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join growing private obstetrics and gynecology practice. The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care for women across the lifespan.

• Includes office and call rotation
• Conduct comprehensive prenatal visits and provide education and counseling to expectant mothers and families.
• Provide labor and delivery care, including attendance at vaginal births and support for natural and low-intervention birth experiences.
• Manage postpartum care, including lactation support and follow-up assessments.
• Perform routine gynecologic exams, family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and menopause care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and ultrasounds within scope of practice.
• Maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in rotating call coverage, including nights and weekends.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with practice philosophy and standards.
• Collaborate with OB‑GYN physicians, nurses, and office staff for seamless patient care.

• Must have recent delivery experience
• Master’s Degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• National certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
• Current BLS and NRP certification (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of [1–2] years of midwifery experience required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a private practice setting.

• Flexible work schedule with rotating call (shared among CNMs and MDs).
• Salary range: 115-159K, not including bonus potential

Greenville is a rapidly growing college town with a population of about 95,000, a rejuvenated Uptown filled with restaurants and shops.
