Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Eastern North Carolina / OB-GYN Advanced Practice Provider

Step into a well-established women’s health practice and provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic care alongside a large, collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers. This ongoing locum opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, meaningful patient relationships, and the chance to make an immediate impact in a thriving community.

• Assignment Dates:
  August 3 - 12/31/2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (starts at 7:50 AM)
• Outpatient-only practice with no call responsibilities - seeing 20-22 patients per day
• Join an established team of 27 physicians and 9 APPs
• 30-minute new patient visits and 15-minute follow-up appointments
• Perform routine gynecologic care, annual exams, and postpartum visits
• Manage abnormal uterine bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, and non-complex ovarian cysts
• Opportunity to perform colposcopy, LEEP, and other office-based GYN procedures based on experience
• Supportive clinical environment with strong provider collaboration
• EMR: EPIC
• Paid travel and expenses

• Be able to do the job as described
• MSN, Master’s degree, or higher from an accredited program
• Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA-C
• North Carolina licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Prior gynecology experience required; experienced providers preferred
• Proficiency with colposcopy and LEEP procedures strongly preferred
• DEA, BLS certification required
