Role: Full-time faculty member responsible for teaching graduate students in Nurse Anesthesia, covering both clinical and didactic coursework.
Key Duties: Delivering instruction, mentoring students on scholarly projects, providing academic advising, and participating in faculty organizations and committees within the College of Nursing.
Qualifications: Valid non-restricted RN license, current CRNA certification, MSN or higher in nursing, with at least three years of CRNA experience.
Skills & Experience: Effective communication, clinical and academic teaching experience preferred, along with computer skills for teaching and administrative tasks.
Additional Requirements: DNP or PhD in nursing within three years of hire; experience precepting SRNAs is preferred.
This role focuses on educating future nurse anesthetists through a combination of practical and theoretical instruction, mentorship, and service within the faculty organization.
