Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care; Outpatient & Telehealth Visits No Weekends

A privately owned internal medicine practice in Sylva, North Carolina is hiring its second NP - a genuine opportunity to join a small, close-knit team, build your own patient panel with personal physician mentorship, and grow into integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy over time. Start at 18 patients per day, ramp at your own pace. Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday until 2:00 or 3:00 PM, no overtime.

New graduates welcome at $115,000 base; experienced NPs up to $130,000 plus 25% profit-sharing above a $25,000 threshold.

• Provide internal medicine and primary care to adults and older adults ages 16 and up
• Start at approximately 18 patients per day, building toward a full panel over time
• Deliver telehealth consultations extending patient access
• Document encounters promptly in Athena EMR with accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Follow practice ACO standards for patient engagement and quality measures
• Build and retain your own patient panel over time
• Develop skills in integrative care, aesthetics, and hormone replacement therapy as services expand

• MSN or higher | FNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, or ANP certification required
• Active North Carolina NP license before start; candidates outside region must relocate
• Active NPI number, valid DEA certificate, and CAQH account required
• Minimum 1 year prior RN experience required
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding required
• 1 year primary care NP experience preferred
• Medicare and Medicaid enrollment preferred; not required at hire

• $115,000-$130,000/year + 25% profit-sharing productivity bonus above $25,000 threshold
• Full-time | Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM | Friday until 2:00-3:00 PM
• No overtime expected | In-person and telehealth | Sylva, NC
• $500 annual CME allowance | 50% DEA renewal covered after initial employment period
