NP​/PA Heart Failure Greenville, NC

ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established advanced heart failure and LVAD program in Greenville, NC. Nurse Practitioners must be ANP, FNP, AGNP or ACNP certified. 2 years of provider experience required.

Greenville, NC is located 80 miles east of Raleigh, NC and 80 miles northwest of beautiful Atlantic Beach, NC.

• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center
• Established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support team inclusive of an advanced heart failure cardiologist, a heart failure surgeon, heart failure pharmacist, heart failure social worker, seven advanced heart failure practice providers, and heart failure certified nurses and a dedicated cardiac psychologist
• Hybrid position with responsibilities in the Inpatient and Ambulatory Settings
• 40 clinical hours per week with extra shift pay for rotating hospital weekend coverage
• Program includes a destination LVAD center, cardiogenic shock program with dedicated ECMO team and CICU critical care service, established CardioMEMS center, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, Barostim, and active heart failure clinical trials and registries
• Several state-of-the‑art heart failure clinics serving Greenville and multiple regional locations.
• 29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents
• ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
