Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an innovative manufacturing company that is hiring a Flavorist. This is a direct hire opportunity offering the chance to lead product innovation, formulation development, and commercialization efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience developing formulations, managing product development projects, and driving innovation from concept through production.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new flavor formulations from concept through commercialization.
  • Manage formulation activities, ingredient selection, testing, and product optimization.
  • Identify and evaluate alternative ingredients and cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Conduct shelf‑life studies and reformulate existing products to improve quality and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing, procurement, quality, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and co‑manufacturers on development and commercialization projects.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects while ensuring timelines, quality, and business objectives are met.
  • Drive innovation through new product concepts, ingredient technologies, and process improvements.
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of product development experience within food, beverage, flavor, or related consumer product industries.
  • Strong knowledge of food science principles, ingredient functionality, food manufacturing processes, and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience developing products from formulation through commercialization and production scale‑up.
  • Ability to work effectively in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with ingredient suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
