Pay Rate: $23-30/hr based on experience/qualifications

Job Description:

• Independently manage daily job site operations, including customer walk-throughs, communication, and relationship management

• Lead installation crews and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards

• Pull, terminate, test, and label data cabling (fiber optic experience is a plus)

• Plan and execute cable routing, rack layout, and equipment installation with minimal supervision

• Terminate data jacks, patch panels, and associated network infrastructure

• Install cable racks, j-hooks, inner duct, ladder racks, networking equipment, and telephone equipment

• Perform testing, certification, and troubleshooting of cabling and installed equipment

• Maintain accurate labeling, documentation, and quality control throughout project completion

• Ensure job site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and security procedures

• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and team members to meet timelines and expectations

• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proven experience pulling, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting data cabling systems

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead crews on installation projects

• Strong customer service and communication skills for walk-throughs and on-site coordination

• Knowledge of industry standards, safety procedures, and best practices

• Hand tools and PPE

Essential Functions of the job:

• Lifting, carrying, adjusting, moving and/or transporting of objects up to 50 pounds

• Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, maintaining balance and/or crawling for extended periods

• Pushing and pulling of arms and legs; use of abdominal and lower back muscles

• Coordinating movements of the eyes, hands, fingers and feet

• Ascending and descending of stairs, ladders, lifts, etc.

• Speaking, hearing and seeing to avoid safety hazards

• Strenuous manual labor
