Pitt Electric, a premier service provider in the Greenville area is seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working directly with homeowners, diagnosing issues on-site, and delivering high quality repairs and installation with professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades
- Install and maintain wiring, outlets, lighting, panels, breakers, and other electrical components
- Diagnose electrical issues quickly and accurately, providing clear explanations and repair options to homeowners
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in customer homes and company vehicles
- Complete service documentation, estimates, and job notes accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company with professionalism
- Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience
- Working knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred
- Electrical journeyman card preferred
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
