Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a well-established distribution and supply company seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and support efficient product movement throughout the organization. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting a collaborative team environment focused on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring warehouse leadership experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance operational oversight with customer-facing responsibilities.
In addition to supervising a small team of drivers, this individual will assist customers at the sales counter, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, monitor inventory processes, and help drive efficient day-to-day warehouse operations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Lead daily warehouse and delivery operations, including supervising and scheduling a small team to ensure productivity, accuracy, and safe work practices.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities to support timely and accurate customer deliveries
- Assist customers at the sales counter by providing product support, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Oversee fleet and equipment readiness, including maintenance coordination, inspections, safety documentation, and operational compliance.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, bin management, and reporting of damaged or obsolete stock.
- Analyze warehouse performance, maintain operational records, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and service levels.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or distribution operations with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, warehouse workflows, and operational best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- Experience using warehouse management, inventory, or business software systems, along with proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Highly organized and dependable professional with the ability to multitask, solve problems, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
