Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a compact or OH license and at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Job Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry floor,

• Primary patient population includes medical and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring,

• Patient ratio is typically 1:5, up to 1:6 during higher census,

• Uses Tru Bridge - Evident EMR system,

• Day shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week,

• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years' recent acute care experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting,

• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS,

• Experience using telemetry equipment necessary,

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients with telemetry monitoring,

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team across multiple shifts,

• Adherence to standard hospital dress code is required,

• Onsite orientation provided,
