Are you a seasoned professional in the construction industry with a knack for solving problems? We are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is crucial to our operations, and we need someone who is not only proficient in a wide range of technical skills but also possesses a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our equipment and systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Performing regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues and prevent potential breakdowns.
2. Carrying out maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment including compressors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, AC/DC motors and drives.
3. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to understand system layout and function.
4. Testing devices and equipment to ensure they are operating correctly and safely.
5. Troubleshooting and repairing PLC systems and working with 480v three phase systems.
6. Communicating effectively with team members and management about equipment status and maintenance plans.
7. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience working with repair, testing devices, compressors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, AC/DC motors and drives.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
4.

Experience with PLC and 480v three phase systems is a must.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship.
8. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
