• At least one year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in state of Ohio (or other applicable state)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NRP certification

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS certifications (AHA/ARC)
• Additional certifications and licenses as required for this position

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations
• Provide immediate postpartum care and assess mother and newborn
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence‑based protocols
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Perform other duties within scope of labor and delivery nursing

• Proficiency in English reading and writing
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and use PC skills
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment 50‑100 lbs, push/pull, bend
• Interpersonal skills to work professionally with diverse personnel
• Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation during procedures

• Visual acuity for effective communication and sensory perception

Job . Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
