Overview
Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13‑week assignment at a facility in Greenville, Ohio. The role supports the obstetrics team during labor, delivery, and postpartum care and offers competitive pay and travel benefits.

- At least one year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
- Valid RN license in state of Ohio (or other applicable state)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- NRP certification
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- STABLE and ACLS certifications (AHA/ARC)
- Additional certifications and licenses as required for this position
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and examinations
- Provide immediate postpartum care and assess mother and newborn
- Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members
- Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence‑based protocols
- Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
- Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
- Comply with regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Perform other duties within scope of labor and delivery nursing
- Critical thinking, service excellence, interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in English reading and writing
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and use PC skills
- Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment 50‑100 lbs, push/pull, bend
- Interpersonal skills to work professionally with diverse personnel
- Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation during procedures
- Mental resilience under pressure and irregular schedules
- Visual acuity for effective communication and sensory perception

Reimbursement for licensure and CEUs
