Experience:
Mid Level
Salary:$20 - $25 per hour
Job Details- Perform quality testing on production batches and incoming raw materials to verify compliance with customer and internal specifications.
- Inspect products and materials using established quality standards and testing procedures.
- Identify and document nonconforming materials and communicate findings to production personnel.
- Recommend process adjustments to improve product quality and maintain specification requirements.
- Record inspection and test results accurately within the company s quality management or ERP system.
- Collect, label, and maintain product samples and quality records.
- Verify calibration of laboratory equipment, gauges, and measuring instruments while maintaining calibration documentation.
- Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with investigations involving customer complaints, quality concerns, and corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional quality and laboratory duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two to five years of quality assurance or laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
- Experience performing visual inspections and color matching is highly preferred.
- Experience with in plastics, extrusion, film manufacturing, converting, or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Experience using ERP or quality management software is preferred.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with production and operations teams.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including color differentiation.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, airborne particles, and other production conditions while wearing required personal protective equipment.
We are seeking a Quality Associate to join a growing manufacturing team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards through inspection, testing, process auditing, and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing quality or laboratory experience who enjoys working in a hands on environment.
