Landscape Construction Specialist & ForemanAre you a skilled landscape professional with a strong background in construction and a passion for transforming outdoor spaces? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Construction Specialist and Foreman to join our growing team.
The Landscape Construction Specialist & Foreman is a high-level field leadership role responsible for the execution of complex outdoor living projects. This individual must possess a mastery of site preparation, concrete finishing, and hardscape installation while effectively leading a crew to deliver projects on time, safely, and to the highest aesthetic standards.
This is a Full-time position, all year round
Schedule:
10-hour shifts Monday thru Thursday, with occasional Fridays. Hours may vary.
- Foreman: Lead and supervise a landscape construction crew, providing guidance, training, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions, providing updates, and meeting their project requests.
- Meet safety guidelines, follow directions and procedures.
- Concrete & Hardscape Installation: Construct patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor kitchens using pavers, natural stone, and poured-in-place concrete.
- Site Preparation: Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, mini-excavators, trenchers) for grading, excavation, and soil movement.
- Drainage & Irrigation: Install subsurface drainage pipes, French drains, and automated irrigation systems.
- Planting & Softscape: Install large-caliber trees, shrubs, and sod according to specific landscape designs.
- Carpentry & Lighting: Build wooden structures like pergolas or decks and install low-voltage outdoor lighting systems.
- Complete accurate daily paperwork, and track materials.
- Knowledge of appropriate materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste for each project.
- Assist with snow removal and tree cleanup during winter months.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
- Must be punctual, dedicated and enjoy working outdoors.
- Experience in landscape construction, concrete and masonry.
- Experience in a leadership or foreman role preferred.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Proficient in operating a wide range of landscape and heavy construction equipment.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs repeatedly), standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Self-motivated, organized, and reliable.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; CDL a plus.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Outdoor work, often in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, snow).
- May involve early mornings, late evenings, and weekend shifts, particularly during snow seasons.
- Schedule:

Commercial driver’s license (CDL).
